NUC Draft Guru Sleeper Series Q & A- Miguel Machado | OT | Michigan State | 6’5″ | 315
Q & A with Coach Schuman and Miguel Machado, Michigan State OT 6-5 315
A late bloomer, Miguel dominated the Tropical Bowl and started this year at Tackle. He has tremendous run blocking skills and very physical. We did a great interview with him below.

#1 What do you think makes you a great NFL prospect ?

I think what makes me a great Nfl player is my ability to pass set on speed rushers and also my ability to run block.

#2 What skills sets unique to your position differentiate you from other players at your position?

The skill set that I feel like I have that is unique is my technique in pass setting and run blocking and my effort on each play. I play with that edge.

#3 What are you doing right now to prepare for your pro day and what skills are you working on improving?

The skills I’m working on to improve is my pass set. I want to be able to get out of my stance and be more explosive with my movements.

#4 What do you think teams need to know about you that they may not already?

I want teams to know that I have only been playing football since 12 grade and I improved more and more with every game.

#5 Why do you think you have been labeled a sleeper player and why do you think you will show teams that your a steal in the draft?

I’ve been labeled a sleeper player because I went to junior college then Michigan state and played as A 6 man rotation guy if anyone went down my junior year but I earned every rep I took and I took advantage of every snap i took my senior year.
Which ever team takes a chance on me they know they will be getting a solid player that will put the extra time in and be the last one off the field every day.
