Our Ranking

Positional- 1 (OT)

Cam Robinson is the most physically dominant offensive lineman in this draft. He has the size, strength, and nasty attitude of a top 5 pick. There are some off field concerns, but strictly based on talent and upside, Robinson is worth of being the first lineman off the board.

His Strengths

Cam is a physical freak who dominates as a run blocker. He has the athleticism to extend up to the second level and seal off defenders on a consistent basis. One of the key aspects of Robinson’s game is the violence with which he attacks defenders. He has an extremely vicious punch that disrupts pass rushers immediately. He also possess a very strong and stable base, which he can sink into to completely wall off pass rushers. In film study you notice how easily he keeps some of the most elite edge defenders in the game out of plays. Both Myles Garrett and Derek Barnett (two first round graded prospects) struggled to have an impact while matched up with Robinson.

Areas of Improvement

Cam Robinson can be over aggressive with his pass protection, occasionally putting himself out of position early in the play. He has a tendency to overreach with his upper body, which weakens his base and allows pass rushers to gain leverage on him. He needs to become more consistent in his ability to settle into his base.
