Rankings as of 9/1 10:00M (EST)

How are the rankings calculated? The 350 players that made Regional Rankings are worth one-point towards team recruiting rankings. Every athlete that makes the Ultimate 250 will receive an additional half point towards team recruiting rankings. The 31 5-Stars will then be awarded another quarter point towards team recruiting rankings. Players in the JUCO Top 25 are worth half a point.

The college with the highest point total will be ranked #1 in team recruiting rankings. All ties in team recruiting rankings will first be broken by which school has the most regionally ranked players. The second tiebreaker is the number of Ultimate 250 commitments. If two teams are still tied after this then they will both have the same recruiting ranking.

Ohio State currently has a slim lead on defending National Champion Alabama for the number one spot in Version 1.o of the NUC Sports Team Recruiting Rankings. Rounding out the top five are Michigan, LSU and Oklahoma.

The SEC leads the way with nine teams in the Top 25 followed by the Big Ten with eight and the ACC with three. PAC12 and Big12 fans should not be worried at this juncture. The two states with the most uncommitted high school athletes ranked in the Regional Rankings and Ultimate 250 are from Texas and California. It is safe to assume that the PAC12 and Big12 will get the bulk of these uncommitted players.

The NUC Team Recruiting Rankings will be updated multiple times a week from now through next Signing Day.
